ABOUT THE CHEF

JLB Catering is the dream child of Chef Justin Blair. Chef Blair’s zest for good food and good friends drove him to start his career in restaurants at the very early age of 16 in San Diego. The restaurant life offered him free days to surf with his friends and nights to cook on the restaurant line and learn from some of the best chefs in California.

Moving to Portland, Oregon in 1989, Chef Blair attended Western
Culinary and graduated in 1990 at the top of his class in Culinary Arts. In 1992, Chef Blair was awarded second place as Oregon’s Best Seafood Chef, and has worked in numerous fine dining restaurant and hotel establishments. Moving to Seattle in 2002, Chef Blair managed a staff of 400+ for Aramark Food Services as the Executive Chef at Qwest Field, home of the Seattle Seahawks.

Chef Blair’s style of cuisine is Northwest Fresh. He uses only the freshest ingredients to bring out amazing flavors in all of his dishes. He writes custom menus for each client and loves using herbs from his garden to compliment his menus. His presence in your kitchen provides you and your guests with scents of garlic and herbs, good conversation and lasting memories of an amazing meal.

Pricing is determined by the number of people and the menu selection.
It includes menu planning, grocery shopping, preparing your food, serving and cleaning up.
